Update PSP to 6.60 And install PRO-CFW

Disclaimer: vampiregameth does not take any responsibility for the damage this may cause to your PSP. Follow the instructions precisely  pay attention to what you are doing and read beforehand, if you shutdown your PSP while updating it will break.

On your PSP go to Settings – System settings – System information.

Look at what it says on System Software:

Updating PSP to 6.60:

1. Connect the PSP system to the PC using the USB cable.
2. Go to the memory stick of the PSP, navigate to PSP -> GAME folder
3. Inside the GAME folder create a new folder and name it UPDATE.
4. Download the official firmware version 6.60, choose the one corresponding to your  PSP
5. After downloading the EBOOT.PBP for your model, copy it to the UPDATE folder created on step 2.
6. Unplug the PSP, now use the PSP to navigate to the Game menu -> Memory Stick -> PSP update and press X to launch it.

1. นำ PSP เชื่อมต่อกับ PC
2. ไปที่ PSP และ โฟร์เดอร์ GAME และสร้างโฟร์เดอร์ใหม่ขึ้นตั้งชื่อว่า UPDATE
3. Download FW 6.60  แล้วนำไฟล์ EBOOT.PBP ไปไว้ที่ \PSP\GAME\UPDATE
4. ติดตั้ง อัพเดท FW 6.60 ดังรูป

Installing Pro CFW on your PSP

Download 6.60 PRO-C Fix3

1.Download 6.60 PRO-C Fix3
2.extract the package.
3.You will find 3 folders in there:
PROUPDATE: Needed to uninstall/install pro cfw.
FastRecovery: Needed to reactivate the CFW after shutting down the console.
CIPL_Flasher: Neeeded to permanently install pro cfw (Only works with 1000 and some 2000 models)
4.Connect the PSP system to the PC using the USB cable copy those folders into your psp GAME directory. Example:

x:\PSP\GAME\FastRecovery
x:\PSP\GAME\PROUPDATE
x:\PSP\GAME\CIPL_Flasher
5.Unplug the PSP USB cable, now use the PSP to navigate to the Game menu use PRO UPDATE install pro cfw.

2.แตกไฟล์
3.จะได้ 3 โฟร์เดอร์
PROUPDATE: ใช้ในการถอนการติดตั้ง / ติดตั้ง CFW Pro
FastRecovery:  ใช้ในการเปิดใช้ CFW Pro หลังจากปิดที่เครื่อง
CIPL_Flasher:  การติดตั้ง CFW Pro ถาวร (เฉพาะรุ่น 1000 และ 2000)
4.คัดลอกโฟลเดอร์ไปไว้ที่ PSP>GAME

5.ถอดPSP ออกจาก USB แล้วทำการติดตั้ง PRO UPDATE

6.After running PROUPDATE a menu will appear, press X to install, the console will reboot itself and that’s it.

6.เมื่อเข้า PROUPDATE ให้ทำการกด X แล้วเครื่องจะรีบูตตัวเอง

Make sure everything is working fine:

Settings – System settings – System information.

It should say 6.60 PRO-C now:

ให้ไปที่ Settings – System settings – System information.จะได้ 6.60 PRO-C

have to run the FastRecovery utility to activate the CFW again.

But If you have a PSP 1000/2000 it’s possible to make the CFW permanent using CIPL_Flasher, if your model is not supported it will tell you so.
